stilling together
Tania González
Conceived as a choreographic laboratory, this workshop focuses on stilling, affect, and slow ontologies. In this occasion, Still Togetheris an invitation to move differently both as individuals and as a collective, paying attention to tiny shifts, micro-perceptions, and all the subtleties of what comes through. Participants will be guided to slow down, tune in, and dive into to the senses. Taking the slow food movement as a reference point, the 2 hours session will combine tools from movement research, improvisation, and sensory ethnography as means to question the imperative to be productive and the hyper-acceleration of late capitalism. In practicing together, we will play around with the notion of affect—understood as relational moving forces— acknowledging the fact that the body is always more-than-one and more-than-human. All bodies are welcome!
