WED 18/01, 19:45-21:30, Studio 3
table top cabaret
Ryan O'Shea
A feast is being served and everyone is invited! Sit around the table, shovel down some nice nosh, glug down some cheap fizz and spell away those January blues.
After a few bevvy’s, you’ll be ready to meet the host for the evening; X-Pat, who will guide you through a menu of fabulous acts, each with a unique flavour.
Joyful, debaucherous and stuffed with bad-taste. Get ready to be a Top for the evening and join X-Pat on the table at the table top cabaret!

Ryan O’Shea is a queer theatre-maker. Projects are multi-layered, aesthetically-sharp and physically-driven, mixing iconography and small scale spectacle and often set in ambiguous, abstract worlds permeating with a feeling of otherness. Honesty, awareness and play are particularly important to his practice.
He is part of Anglo-Belgian theatre collective Reckless Sleepers and has also worked with Tom Marshman, Massive Owl and Michael Pinchbeck.
He has produced Flare International Festival of New Theatre 2017, worked with international theatre makers and helped present work internationally to UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Netherlands and India.
He is a proud Alumni of the Contemporary Theatre & Performance programme at Manchester Metropolitan University and Bristol based, artist-led collective INTERVAL.
He is currently living in the Netherlands, conducting artistic research into theatrical camp ambivalence through the lens of clouds.
